Dearly beloved, loving greetings to you in the name of Jesus Christ! God is speaking to you every day, right? We must listen to what He is speaking. While walking with someone it is not fair to be quiet. We must talk to them, and they to us. Only then we can walk happily, right? Walking with Jesus is also the same! He doesn’t ask you to keep your mouth shut. You have to talk to Him and He will talk to you. We talk to Him when we pray. He talks to us through the word of God, right? Even today, He wants to talk to us through a Bible verse. It is, in Proverbs 28:27, ‘He who gives to the poor will not lack, but he who hides his eyes will have many curses.’ It is a very strong word! Most of us are not thinking about it – Curse! It is written in the Bible. There are some curses that follow up to generations. There are curses that befall on the wicked. It is all written in the Bible. It is written that, to set us free from the curse, He Himself became a curse on the cross. There are many reasons for curse. Here, God tells one thing, ‘…he who hides his eyes to the poor will have many curses’. How strong this word is, right? This is also a word of God and many don’t think about it! If you hide your eyes to the poor, say, a poor and needy stretches their hand to you, expecting you to help; you’re well off and capable of helping, but you still hide your eyes from them and walk away, curse shall come upon you. This is what God is warning. So, to those who stretch out their hands to you for help, do whatever you could do. Those who are poor, in poverty and those who are in need of food, you should definitely lend your help. God is concerned about you and He is a God who loves you. He can feed them only through you. He can meet their needs only through you. That’s why He is sending them to you. That’s why He has made you to come across them. Do not turn your eyes away from them. Just think how you can help them. Help them! ‘If you happen to see them and you are able to help them, and yet if you turn your eyes away from them, then it is a curse!’ The Bible says so. The impact of that curse will be seen in your life. God is warning us saying this. Therefore, we must pay attention to help the poor. That is why in Jesus Redeems Ministry, we have formed a department for widows, orphans and the poor, and helping them all. God is pleased about it, right? Even you can also part take with us in this ministry. If you cannot help them personally, you can contact us and join us in helping the poor. Even in our day to day life, when we see the orphans and poor we meet, it is very essential to help them and make them happy. If we do not do so, we must realize that, it will bring curse upon us. Because they’re poor, you have despised them, and that brought any curse upon your life. You must think of it. Ask God, ‘God, please forgive me; I was not aware of it until now, Please remove this curse from me and enable me to help others’. God will help you. [PRAYER]: ‘Father, please give us grace for not to hide our eyes, to the poor, destitute, oppressed but to love them. be kind to them and help them in every possible way. In Jesus name we pray, Father!’. Amen. Amen.
