I greet you in Jesus’ name! People who are walking with God are a blessed man and woman! When you walk with Jesus, His qualities imbibe within us; He teaches us wonderful things. He is a God, who taught His disciples to pray. I’m talking to you standing in the garden of Gethsemane. Gethsemane on the Mount of Olives in the city of Jerusalem. At this place, on the day before Jesus was crucified on the cross, He spoke this verse to His disciples. It is in Matthew 26:41, He says, ‘Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation…’ Are there temptations, are there problems, are there struggles? Are you losing heart? Are you worried saying, ‘There’s a lot of temptation, a lot of problem!’ Jesus is saying, ‘Watch and pray!’ There’s no other shortcut;
it is mandatory to pray. If you have to overcome temptation, to be joyful or to win over temptation, It is a must to watch and pray. Jesus taught us this. Those of us who are walking with Him must pray like Him. Will you ask, ‘Jesus,
Please grant me grace to watch and pray like You!’ He will surely give you victory!
He will never let you be in fear. There will be miracle in those things you are praying for; you will overcome temptation. ‘Father, You have taught us to watch and pray so that we do not enter into temptation. Grant this wonderful son/ daughter, this mother/father Your grace and strength to pray without anxiety, to watch and pray without entering into temptation. In Jesus’ name we pray, Father! Amen. Amen.’
