Belief in the Unseen – Amin Ahsan Islahi’s Interpretation – Dr Shehzad Saleem

this would actually mean that believers do not insist on seeing certain realities and and then saying it we will only believe once we see realities in fact they are ones who see who believe in reality is because of the fact that there are arguments in favor of the art reality there is reasoning in favor of that reality they don't in space insist that if they see the smoke coming out of someplace then only unless they see the fire behind it or the fire at that place only then will they believe in the fire so a smoke is something something which sufficiently guides them similarly there are so many other things which which guides with a guided person in which he believes something without seeing it force of gravity for example is something which we know is something which exists in this verse in this universe and we have never seen that force but we still believe it because of its effects on us so stars I mean as soon as I say is that this verse basically tells us that believers are those people are those beings who who believe in certain things without seeing them or while they are unseen to them and for this as I said he has also presented verses of the Quran in support of his communicate that reason to other people so it's like establishing a line of communication through reasoning otherwise the the normal or general interpretation of this verse is in which the the letter ba is taken to be the object and therefore it's it's it's it actually means that they believe in the unseen the translation which is generally done as a result is that we believe in the unseen and or they believe in the Allah rhyme so far the slaw he has also criticized this translation although he says that it is admissible it is grammatically possible but there are some questions which arise on in in an obstruction with from those facts from which we on which we are to believe and the reason that we are required to believe in them is that there are some arguments which favor their existence which favor that they are there and therefore we we actually focus on those arguments we focus on that reasoning and then we believe it and so the biggest result of this interpretation is that faith or belief ends in certain facts becomes a communicative bill thing it does not become a dogma it is a thing in which you and your addressee can speak about in terms of reasoning and of course they could be a discussion and debate and this is how the almighty actually has in the rest of the Quran has asked us that we must believe while thinking while reflecting and that is how we will have that living relationship with the Almighty which is so missing from our lives until we have that living relationship with the Almighty and until we have that feeling that we are we are believing something after being convinced of that thing we will never have that conviction in the things that we believe so I would say this is a very important contribution of the stars Amenia Smith and let us reflect
