ACTIVATING GOD’S FAVOR – PSALMS 63 – MORNING PRAYER

Good morning, good
morning, good morning. I want to say a good morning
to our precious partners, and our friends,
and our viewers. You know we love spending
the mornings with you guys, encouraging you, bringing the
Word of the living God to you. We serve a good God. And I had a lot of requests. A lot of people say, Pastor,
we love the teaching. We love the word of God. Some people said it’s
sweet to my soul. We love you, and we
appreciate you guys’ comments. And I will be sharing,
for a few minutes, the Word of God, which after
we get done worshipping, I want to talk about
activating the favor of God. We know the favor of God
is available to everyone. God loves and favors everyone. But there are certain
things in the Word of God that we need to do to see
the favor of God manifested in our lives. Amen. Just play that song for me. For you are great. [MUSIC PLAYING] (SINGING) You are great. You do miracles so great. There is no one else like you. Come on, worship
with me this morning. There is no one else like
you, for you are great. You do miracles so great. There is no one else like you. There is no one else like you. You deserve the glory. (SINGING) And you deserve
the glory, and the honor, and the honor. As we lift our hands in worship,
as we lift your holy name. Because you deserve the glory,
and the honor, and the honor. As we lift our hands in worship,
as we lift your holy name. For you are great. Yes, Lord. You do miracles so great. Come on, sing it. Come on, lift your
heads to heaven. I feel the presence of God. I feel the anointing
of the Holy Ghost. (SINGING) There is
no one else like you. For you are great. Yes, Lord. You do miracles so great. There is no one. There is no one else like you. There is no one else like you. Glory to God. I got to sing it one more time. (SINGING) For you are great. You do miracles so great. Come on, lift your hands to
heaven and worship God with me. I feel the Holy Ghost. (SINGING) There is no one else
like you, for you are great. You do miracles so great. There is no one else like you. There is no one else like you. Now listen. I want to go into the
Word of God this morning. I want to go into the
Word of God this morning from the book of– I want to read Psalms
Chapter 63, Verse 1 and 2. And then I’m going to jump
into the book of Proverbs, Chapter 8. Because we are talking about
activating the favor of God. All right? Activating God’s favor. Because I know many of you– I read your prayer requests. Many of you, Pastor, I need
favor in this situation. I need favor. And I want to talk to you
about that for a few minutes this morning. Listen to what David said
in Psalm Chapter 63 Verse 1. David said, oh God,
thou art my God. Early will I seek thee. My soul thirsteth for thee. My flesh longs for thee
in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is
why, so that I may see your power and your
glory, as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. You’ve got to understand this. You want to see
the power of God ? You want to see the glory of
God made manifest in your life? Well David has
given us a secret. David said, oh God,
Thou art my God. Early will I seek thee. You know, in the New Testament
you see a lot of the miracles that Jesus performed. But a lot of people
miss the point that the Bible says
it in Luke 6:12. The Bible says, Jesus went
out a great while before day. That meant He went to
seek the face of God early in the morning. And as a result
of Christ seeking God early in the morning, when
He conducted His crusade later on that night, Luke
Chapter 6 Verse 19 says, for there went power out
of him, and healed them all. Everybody was healed
under Christ’s ministry. Not in every situation. But in a lot of cases,
they were all healed. Well, that’s the
secret to the healing ministry of the Lord Jesus. He paid the price. He made the sacrifice and got up
early to seek the face of God. Even David said it. David said, early
will I seek you. Abraham was an early riser. Moses in the Book of Exodus 34,
he rose early in the morning to go and seek God. Jacob rose early. Isaac rose early to seek God. So all through the
Bible, these men had a habit of
seeking God early. And it was no coincidence
that they were so successful. Now I’m talking about
activating God’s favor. So I want to go straight
into the book now of Proverbs Chapter 8. And I want to begin at Verse 17. And I want you to listen
to the Word of God. And listen. I will pray with you,
and I will do whatever the Holy Ghost is telling me. And God spoke to me and
said, feed my sheep. And it was God who inspired
me to start these morning broadcasts. He inspired my wife as well. Both of us. Spoke to us for us to
start these morning prayer broadcasts to spend
time with you. To pray with you. But not only to pray with
you, but also to share the Word of God with you. If all we are doing is praying
for you, praying for you and not giving you
the Word of God, not giving you instructions,
you gonna always need us praying for you. But if you get the word from God
and understand what’s going on, you can pray for yourself. You can pray your own
self into a breakthrough. But I want you to listen
to what the word of God says in Proverbs 8, because we
are talking about activating the favor of God. Listen to Verse 17. Verse 17. This is God talking
through Solomon. I love them that love me. And those that seek
me early will find me. Did you hear that? He said I love
them that love me, and those that seek
me early will find me. Well listen. That’s powerful. You can take that and put that
along with Jeremiah Chapter 29, Verse 11 through 13. We all quote the first part. Let me just go there
and read it to you. Because we all love Verse
11, but we leave out the meat of it, because
we just stop at Verse 11. Jeremiah Chapter
29 Verse 11 says, for I know the thoughts
that I think toward you, said the Lord. Thoughts of peace,
and not of evil, to give you unexpected end. Now notice what he said
in Verse 12 and 13, and 14 is the key to this. Then shall you call upon me, and
you shall go and pray onto me, and I will hearken unto you. Listen to Verse 13. And you shall seek
me and find me when you shall search for
me with all your heart. So God says you will
seek me and find me when you do it with all your heart. But he tells you
how to find him. He said, those that seek
me early will find me. So it pays to get up early
in the morning and pray. Now for some of you
who have to maybe go to work at 12, and well we
know– but it doesn’t matter. Just find that time
and set time apart to be with God where
you can seek him. Because Jesus said of you,
for those who pray in secret, God will reward you openly. So he said, and you
shall seek me and find me when you search for me
with all your heart. And I will be found
of you, said the Lord. And I will turn
away your captivity. So even though he says,
I know the thoughts I think towards you, plans
to prosper you and give you an expected end,
what activates that and makes that plan
come to pass is when you seek the face of God. And one of the ways we seek
Him is by seeking God early. Glory to God. That’s good stuff. I love the word of God. So look at what he
says in verse 18. Let’s go back to
Proverbs Chapter 8 now. Verse 17. He said, I love
them that love me, and those that seek me
early shall find me. Verse 18. Riches and honor are with me. Yes. Durable riches
and righteousness. Listen to what he
says in Verse 19. My fruit is better than God. Yea, than fine gold. And my revenue
than choice silver. Listen to what he said
in Verse 20 and 21. I lead in the way
of righteousness, in the midst of the
paths of judgment, that I may cost those that
love me to inherit substance. And I will fill their treasures. When he said, I will fill their
treasures, he’s talking about, I will fill your treasures. He’s talking about prosperity. He will cause you to prosper. God will give you the
wealth of the wicked. He will open doors. He will give you creative ideas. He’ll show you how to
get promoted on the job. He’ll show you which
course you need to take. Hello. Faith without works is dead. He will show you
what courses you need to take, to up your
level, and up your education on the job, to
qualify for that race. To qualify for that position. You listening to me? Some of us think
God is the lottery. No. God has a system. He says study to show
yourself approved unto God. A workman who needs not
to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. So God said, if you seek me
early, if you seek me early, he said, I will cause
you to inherit substance, and I’ll fill your treasures. He says, riches and
honor are with me. That’s what happened
with Solomon. When God increased his wisdom,
God increased his wealth. Are you hearing me? And one of the
ways to get wise is to seek God early in the
morning, study in your Bible, meditate on the word of
God, and just worshipping God, and waiting before God. Now I want to jump down to the
part of this scripture that actually shares the secret on
the part where God’s favor is activated as a result of
seeking the face of God early. Now jumping all the
way down into Verse 34, because I got to
hurry – wrap this up. I’m jumping all the
way down into Verse– I’ll probably go into Verse
32 so you can really get it. Because it’s a continuation. Remember, he
started with saying, I love those who
love me, and those who seek me early will find me. Now what’s this? He says, now
therefore, Verse 32, hearken unto me, all you
children, for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction and be
wise, and refuse it not. Here it comes. Blessed is the man that heareth
me, watching daily at my gates. That’s spending time in
the secret place with God. Waiting at the
posts of my doors. That’s waiting in
God’s presence, with your worship music on, with
your Bible open, Bible in hand. It may be on your
tablet like me, or your iPad, or
your smartphone, whatever device it is. May be the physical Bible. Doesn’t matter. Get in the word of God. Listen to what he said. Blessed is the man that heareth
me, watching daily at my gates. Waiting at the
posts of my doors. Listen to what he says. Verse 35. Here it comes. For who ever finds
me, finds life, and shall obtain the
favor of the Lord. Man, that’s powerful. That is powerful. God said– the word obtain right
that means you will receive it, or he will furnish
you with favor. God will cause man and woman
to look at you favorably, like he did with
Joseph, when Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dream. The Bible says, he gained
favor in Pharaoh’s eyes, and all his men. When Esther stood before the King, she gained favor with the
King and with all his people. When David stood before
King Saul, he gained favor. But here’s the secret. Blessed is the man that hears
me watching daily at my gates, waiting at the post of my doors. For whoever finds
me, finds life, and shall obtain
favor of the Lord. So you need favor
in a situation? The way to activate that
favor is by seeking him early. He said in Proverbs 8:17,
I love those that love me, and those who seek me
early will find me. And then in verse 35 then he
says, and whoever finds me, finds life, and will
obtain favor from the Lord. That’s how you activate the
favor of God in your life. It never fails. For you are great. It never fails. [MUSIC PLAYING] It never fails. The favor of God is
worth more than money. It’s worth more than silver. It’s worth more than gold. Jesus himself had
favor with God and man. The apostles gained favor
with all the people. Now Jesus needed God’s favor. What do you think
about me and you? If Christ needed
the favor of God, we sure enough need
the favor of God. We need it. And you need God’s
favor this morning. And thank God. You are paying the price. Getting up early. Are paying the price when
you get off at night, but you are taking the time
to listen to these broadcasts and apply yourself. Studying the word of God. Reading along with me as
I share the word of God. The favor of God is coming
on your life right now. You are activating
the favor of God, because you are
applying yourself. I read your comments under
the morning prayer videos. I pray over you guys. You guys have been blessing
us as we read your comments. (SINGING) You are great. You do miracles so great. Come on. There is no one else like you. There is no one else. There is no one else like you. For you are great. You do miracles so great. There is no one else like you. There is no one else like you. You deserve the glory. (SINGING) And you
deserve the glory. Come on worship Him
with me this morning. And the honor. As we lift our hands in worship. As we lift your holy name. Because you deserve the
glory and the honor. As we lift our hands in worship. As we lift your holy name. For you are great. You do miracles. My precious brother. My precious sister. I pray for you this morning. I pray that everywhere you turn,
every direction of your life, I pray that the favor
of God would come on you and overtake you. I pray that you would gain
favor with man, favor with God. I pray that the judge
would rule in your favor. You that’s going on
the job interview. I pray the same
favor of God that rested on Joseph, and Esther,
on David and on Daniel would come upon you right now. We apply ourselves
to the word of God. Receive the favor of God. Receive the favor of God. Lift your hands to heaven
and open your mouth, and say, God, I receive your favor. I receive it right now. I receive your favor. My situation is
going to get better. In the name of Jesus. The tables are taking a turn
for the better in my life. God, I receive your
favor this morning. I receive it in
the name of Jesus. (SINGING) I receive
your favor, Lord. Favor, Lord. Hallelujah. There is no one else like
you, for you are great. Listen. We love you, and
we say go forward and enjoy and experience God’s
favor in your life today. We love you. God bless you. And we look forward to being
with you again tomorrow morning. And listen. If you have not yet
