6 Bible Verses That Will Change Your Life FOREVER!

– Hi everyone, and
welcome to Rhoades24eva, I’m Terri. – And I’m Kyle, and today we’re going to
be sharing six Bible verses that will change your life forever. And the reason we’re sharing them is because we believe that
if you embrace these verses, they will change your life as well. – And guys, just because
we’re sharing these verses does not mean these are the
only verses in the Bible that could have an impact on your life. So let us know in the comments down below what are some of your
favorite Bible verses, or verses that you’ve read that have completely impacted you in a way where you felt just moved to just change for the better, or to just think about
life totally differently. We can’t wait to hear
what you have to say. So let’s just get right into it and share those six verses
that changed our lives forever. – So the first verse that
changed our lives forever is Matthew 6:33, and it reads, seek first the kingdom of
God and His righteousness, and all of these things
shall be added unto you. Now, for me this stood out because as a male, and a Christian male, one of the things that I like to do, well, liked to do was
provide for my own needs. Now this was important
because at the end of the day, God wants to provide all of our needs. But at the end of the day, if I’m trying to do that myself, I’m in essence taking the place of God. So when I read this verse it really allowed me to have a mindset shift, because above
the verse it talks about how God clothed the lilies of the field and how he provides for even them, and how much more precious
we are than those lilies. And instead of trying to go
out and be our own providers, the Lord in this particular verse says seek first his kingdom and the things that he
desires for us to seek, and then all those other external things, like our basic needs, those
will be added unto us. So we just have to focus on God first, and then all these other
things will be brought to us. – The next verse that definitely
changed my life forever was Galatians 6:9, which says, do not grow
weary in doing good, for in due time you’ll reap a
harvest if you do not give up. This verse really speaks to
this spiritual battle, right? So, as a Christian you’re
trying to walk it out by following the fruit of the spirit, and sometimes it can be very difficult. But this verse is just
reminding us don’t give up, keep holding on, keep persevering. And I know, as a young adult oftentimes in life you’ve
been praying for something, you’ve been hoping, you’ve been trusting, and it seems as though, even though you’re praying
time and time again, you don’t see anything happening. And what this verse kinda reminds us to do is to just take a step
back and to just trust that at the right time
we will see that harvest. So, just trust that God
is working, he’s moving, and you know, it’s us helping
to develop you as a person, so you’re growing, as you are in that moment
waiting for that due season. So there’s always going to be a season where you’re going to be reaping, so trust that God has that plan for you. – Another life-changing
verse is James 1:2-3, and it states, my
brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of
your faith produces patience. Now, this was huge for me because as a young adult I’m trying to figure out my life purpose,
the direction I should go. I’m in college and maybe I’m
having financial struggles, trying to figure out how to pass, as well as pay for my classes, and just figuring out life
direction all together. But when I read this verse it lets me know that these
things are not in vain. Like I may be struggling right now or I may be dealing with different things, but they’re all for a purpose. They’re all working together for good, and they’re all working
to help develop my faith, as an individual, as a
Christian, all together. So, it really helped me to change my perspective on my struggles and stop looking at them as a weakness and start looking at them as a strength, especially when I’m focusing on God, and through those struggles
I’m seeking to honor him in everything that I do. So, that’s the reason
why that verse in itself was a life-changer for me. – Another verse that was a huge, huge, huge, huge life-changer for me was Matthew 10:29-31, and I’m telling you, I actually wrote about this.
(bell tinkling) This is my old journal, and I had to pull it up when Kyle and I were talking about verses that changed our life. And on April 11th, 2015, I actually wrote about
this verse in my journal, and the reason why this
verse was so big for me. And this verse actually,
I’m just going to read 31, but I’ll put the entire thing
on the screen, which says, do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. And this verse was huge for me because I had been in a relationship and one of the things that I remember, I was crying to my friend when
this relationship was over, and I was asking, what’s wrong with me? Why am I not good enough? And I kept thinking there
was something wrong with me and that I wasn’t good enough, and this was why this
relationship was ending. And when I read this Bible verse I started realizing,
like, wow, I’m priceless. I’m just going to share with you guys one of the things I wrote
in my journal at this time, about this particular verse, and it says, it’s easy to get discouraged
and feel worthless when we are rejected by others, but it’s vital that we remember we serve a god who has placed a value on
us that is far greater. He sees us as precious. Worry not about the value of men. Go to the Savior, and he will accept you and love you just the way you are. In his eyes I am a prized possession. And so, for anyone who is
watching this video today and you’ve been feeling
like you don’t matter or you don’t have any worth, wow, this verse right here. God loves you. You are the apple of his eye. He is just in love with you, and you are a prized possession to him. You are valuable. We just wanna remind you
that you’re valuable. If someone doesn’t tell you enough, or if you don’t believe it enough, read the word of God and this verse will be a reminder to you about just how valuable
you are in the eyes of God. – Another life-changing verse
is Romans 8:31, and it states, what then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Now that really stuck out to me because at the end of the day, there are a lot of things
that could come up against us, whether they be emotional things, physical things, financial. Whatever the case may be. Maybe you’re struggling financially. Maybe you’re dealing with lust or any type of sin, or maybe you’re just having
a hard time loving yourself, but at the end of the day, we remember that we serve
the God of the Universe, and if he is for us, then there’s nothing
that can be against us. And we have to take time to
stop looking at our problems and telling God how big our problems are, and we have to take the time to tell our problems how big our god is, and change our perspective when it comes to dealing with
whatever these things may be, depending on your particular situation. – Another verse that was an
absolute life-changer for me was Philippians 2:3-4, which states, let nothing be done through
selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others
better than himself. Let each of you look out not
only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. And the reason why I absolutely
love this Bible verse is because I think in society it’s easy to get caught
up in me, me, me, me, me. God, what about me? I want this, I want that. And it’s so easy to become selfish. And this verse is reminding us about the importance of being selfless. I also love that when I read this verse it reminds us about the
importance of humility. And so, we don’t wanna get caught up about just what we want,
or what we need to do, or what we need to possess, but we have to remember that
as Christians we are alike in this world, and so we need to go out there
and be a blessing to others, however we can. God has given us all special
talents, special gifts that he wants us to use for his glory. And so this verse reminds me that I shouldn’t be so focused on just me, because again, that’s being selfish. I have to be a servant, and see how can I serve
in the kingdom of God? What are things that I can do to build up God’s kingdom? Are there people who don’t know Jesus, that maybe I could be someone
who introduces them to Jesus? Is the life I’m living drawing
others closer to Jesus? And so I really love this
verse for that reason. So those were our six verses that we believe will
change your life forever. Again, let us know in the comments what your favorite Bible verse is or what Bible verse you have read that you feel is a life-changer. And we also wanna make
